The Ennsradweg cycle route

The Enns, the longest river that rises and ends within Austria, rises at the head of the valley of Flachauwinkl. A beautiful cycle path runs alongside the river – a not-so-closely guarded secret pleasure for leisure cyclists and nature-lovers. The c. 260 km route starts in Flachauwinkl, passes through the Enns Valley in Styria and ends in Enns (Upper Austria),introducing you to the most beautiful countryside of three different Austrian states. Flachau has so much to offer cyclists.

Running through the entire Flachautal valley, the Ennsradweg route is a key part of the region's cycle path network. A number of other routes also connect to the Ennsradweg, for example a route to Wagrain-Kleinarl or from Radstadt along the idyllic Taurrachradweg cycle path to Untertauern.
