More informations

We start at Badesee Reitdorf and run approximately 1.5 km along Höchweg, steadily ascending until we reach Schloss Höch. After this initial warm-up phase, we can refresh ourselves with the finest spring water at the nearby fountain. Continuing behind the castle, we follow the forest road for about 2 km, slightly ascending, until we turn right onto a hiking trail. We follow this trail for about 500 meters, climbing to the highest point of the tour.

Afterward, we descend slightly on a forest road before turning left onto Aigenbergweg. Here, we are greeted with wonderful views of the entire Flachau Valley, including its valley head, and the upper Ennstal. Following the road, we reach the Bergbauernhof Pürstingbauer with a gentle ascent. After passing this farm, we continue left on a forest road, ascending slightly past a barrier into a forest area.

After about 600 meters, we turn right onto the forest road for another 200 meters, then follow the signs to turn right and descend about 600 meters on a winding path. We reach the Maderlehen farm and continue downhill on the paved road to Jausenstation Burnstein.

From there, we head south on the Schachen-Bichl-Weg until we turn right toward Bauernhof Unterlehen. Shortly after the farm, we follow a brief section of meadow path that leads to Ransburggasse. We continue straight at the Marterl to Aignerbauern and shortly after, turn left back to the starting point at Badesee Reitdorf.
