Entlang eines winterlichen Wanderweges, teilweise entlang der Rodelbahn, gelangt man bis zum Berggasthof Sattelbauer. Zwischendurch kommt man an Waldlichtungen vorbei, von wo man einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Skiweltcuport Flachau hat. Oben angekommen kann man beim Sattelbauer einkehren. Wer will kann sich Rodeln ausborgen und mit diesen auf der ca. 3,5 km langen, solarbeleuchteten Rodelstrecke runter ins Tal düsen.
