Wir starten beim Sattelbauer und folgen der Forststraße für ca. 300 Meter bevor wir scharf nach rechts abbiegen und dem Straßenverlauf aufwärts folgen. Der Anstieg wird nun stetig steiler und erfordert einiges an Kondition. Am Ziel angelangt, findet man eine eindrucksvolle Landschaft vor. Die im Sommer bewirtschaftete Lackenalm lädt zu einer Einkehr ein. Retour geht es denselben Weg, oder optional auf den Trails entlang der Abfahrt zum Sattelbauer.

Start at the Sattelbauer mountain inn, then keep to the right and cross a barrier that shows us the direction. Follow this route for about 300 meters and then turn sharp right uphill. Follow the road and keep left after another 400 meters. Always stay on the main course of the forest road and avoid turning off at forks. Above the tree line you can see the Lackenalmen and the destination is in sight. The way back is straight back to the saddle farmer. Experienced trail riders have the opportunity to take shortcuts on the forest paths.
Check the functionality of your mountain bike before every ride and find out about the weather in advance. For your own safety, wearing a helmet is also recommended.
The basic equipment of a mountain biker includes:

Parking is available in the center of Flachau (BBF center & mini golf car park).
