Von Flachau aus geht es über den Ennsradweg in Richtung Radstadt, von wo man nun auf die ausgeschilderte Strecke (SW 12) einsteigt. Die ersten Kilometer bis Forstau werden nun über asphaltierte Straßen zurückgeleget und dabei knapp 300hm überwunden. Nach einer lässigen Abfaht angekommen in Forstau, gelangt man nun auf den Forstweg, welcher euch in den schier undendlich langen Talschluss nach Forstauwinkl führt. Für sehr anspruchsvolle Biker wird der Weg fast ein wenig zu flach sein, andere werden genau das genießen, da es nie wirklich steil wird und man Landschaft und Natur in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Angekommen im wunderschönen Talschluss, laden zwei exzellente Einkehrmöglichkeiten zum Verweilen ein. (Für ambitionierten Biker gibt es die Möglichkeit auf sehr anspruchsvoller Strecke zur Oberhütte und dem gleichnamigen See hinaufzufahren - Achtung! Nur für wirklich Geübte). Über denselben Weg geht es dann über Forstau retour nach Radstadt, wo man wieder in den Ennsradweg einsteigt und diesen zurück nach Flachau folgt.

Start at Flachau Tourismus - over the bridge and then left in the direction of the miniature golf course - follow the signposted Ennsradweg in the direction of Altenmarkt and further in the direction of Radstadt - in Radstadt past the grammar school - at km 12.8 turn right at the sawmill - past the Pirnbacher and Billa supermarket - at the following roundabout turn left (3rd exit) in the direction of Forstau - approx. 4 km moderately ascending on country road towards Forstau - exit towards Forstau - in the center of Forstau turn right towards Vögeialm - gentle ascent towards the end of the valley to Vögeialm - past the Winklalm a gravel road begins after 100 meters - at the coming fork keep left towards Vögeialm - return to Forstau via the same route - continue to Radstadt and from there again via the Ennsradweg back to Flachau
