Fritz Messner is a songwriter and singer of the Lungau band "Querschläger", a member of the cult cabaret (current program "Würstl sucht Stand"), author, and columnist for the Salzburger Nachrichten. In his program "Solo. All alone." he offers a cross-section from all these areas. Songs, texts, and cabaret performances reflect life, land, and people – analytically, sharply, and satirically, but always with a wink and a good dose of humor. The songs, texts, and cabaret numbers are selected specifically and often spontaneously, based on current events for each performance – and the selection is quite considerable for someone who has 45 years as a songwriter, 20 years as a cabaret artist, and 15 years as a columnist in his creative account.
